We are seeking a Bookkeeper to work remotely 15-25 hours per week, with days and hours somewhat flexible, to assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform general bookkeeping duties using Quickbooks Online for ILADS and its affiliate.
Post bookkeeping entries from our association management software vendor to QuickBooks.
Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis.
Process account payables, some of which are in foreign currencies (mostly Euros).
Maintain and organize accounting files.
Assist in developing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Assist in annual budgeting process.
Enter company payroll into accounting system (Payroll is processed by ADP).
Process year-end payroll and 1099’s.
Obtain necessary tax forms from new vendors.
Special projects as assigned by the Executive Director or Finance Manager.
Two years’ experience working in accounts payables and receivables, general ledger, payroll and payroll reports for a non-profit organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks.
Proficiency in MemberSuite is desirable.
Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles.
Proficient at data entry.
Attention to detail and ability to keep records and files organized.
Good collaborator and communicator.
Telecommuting is allowed.
