Collaborative Support Programs of NJ (CSPNJ), a peer led not-for-profit organization, has 2 vacancies for Support Service Worker to join a residential program servicing individual living and recovering from a psychiatric disability. The position is full-time for 40 hours per week and is eligible for benefits. Support Service Worker will provide direct social services to up to 20 residents in our supportive housing program. Will assist persons’ in recovery to re-establish valued roles in the community and work on pre-set goals per the treatment plan. Work in a variety of ways to promote self-sufficiency. Must have excellent time management skills and able to meet program service goals. Able to work in a team setting and self-motivated to work independently in the field. Individual will have strong writing skills and be able to complete accurate and timely documentation as required by program regulations.

Qualifications: Bachelors in Social Work or related field and 1 year work experience working in a residential setting –OR- equivalent. Excellent written and verbal skills, strong assessment skills and organizational skills are required. Ability to manage crisis; strong computer skills and valid NJ drivers’ license and acceptable driving record is required. Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation models a plus.
