Reporting to the Manager of Internship Programs, coordinate the administration of the Yawkey Nonprofit Internship Program. This includes contributing to the development of content for promotion of the program to students, faculty, staff, employers, and all stakeholders within the Boston University Community; and supporting students from the application process through the completion of internships. Plan and implement internship and related career development events. Annually prepare templates for applications, learning agreements, evaluations and reflective essays within a custom-designed management software platform. Monitor student progress and employer relationships through regular student and employer communications to ensure strong, educational internship experiences. Identify and develop opportunities for internship relationships with employers in the nonprofit sector and assist in managing relationships with existing internship program participants. Coordinate an annual assessment of the program and make recommendations for enhancements, as needed. Draft a comprehensive annual program report. As a member of the Center for Career Development's Employer Engagement Team, participate in office and campus-wide activities and events, particularly as they relate to student and employer access to internship opportunities.
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in program and event management required. Effective presentations skills, demonstrated attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are also required. Previous experience in a higher education or college recruiting environment is preferred.
