The Oklahoma Society of CPAs is looking for a detail-oriented and adaptable individual to fill the role of our Learning Coordinator, Seminars. The Learning Coordinator, Seminars is responsible for all onsite continuing professional education (CPE) seminar administration: processing registrations, reconciling attendance, printing nametags, making speaker arrangements, ordering F&B and sending out confirmations, evaluations and certificates. The position plays a pivotal role in customer satisfaction by being the main point of contact with attendees and other Society members through phone, email and in-person interactions. The Learning Coordinator is also responsible for the administration of various special educational events, simulcast courses, webcasts and self-study programs. The position is responsible for assisting with office administrative duties (such as answering phone calls, greeting guests, etc.) and is the staff liaison to two society committees.
Candidates must be customer-service oriented, have strong organizational practices and be able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Proficient computer skills and database experience are expected.
A high level of professionalism is a must.
Candidates should feel comfortable working in a team environment yet still have a high level of individual motivation and initiative.
Experience with event planning, associations, nonprofits and/or continuing education would be a plus.
Some overtime and travel will be required.
