The Development Manager is a key member of the Fundraising Team at RAINN and is responsible for managing the department’s finance and reporting processes, peer-to peer fundraising platform, digital solicitation campaigns, and all aspects of the CRM system (Salesforce). Reporting to the Vice President of Development, the Development Manager has duties that include but are not limited to:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of RAINN’s Salesforce CRM data and email communications platforms; train staff in use and advise on best practices.
Assist Vice President and RAINN leadership with digital campaigns, special projects and other development priorities as needed, including managing external contracts/vendors/consultants.
Streamline donor data management, tracking, reporting, and overall data integrity.
Track progress towards revenue goals and prepare reports for leadership.
Meet or exceed agreed upon quarterly and annual metric goals.
Manage RAINN’s state registration process, in workplace campaigns, and donor advised funds.
Utilize Google Analytics to analyze donor behavior through rainn.org.
Serve as a liaison to the Tech and Communications departments when appropriate.
Lead and expand our network of volunteer fundraisers.
Maintain relationships with fundraisers and manage all volunteer-led campaigns and events.
Manage use of peer-to-peer platform.
All other duties as assigned.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
3-5 years of fundraising experience and proven ability to meet revenue goals.
Expertise with CRM software required (experience using Salesforce strongly preferred).
Veterans will be given priority.
Exceptional organization and project management skills.
Excellent communications skills (written and verbal).
Understanding of financial processes in nonprofit setting required.
Experience with email marketing systems preferred.
Experience successfully managing and motivating volunteers.
Familiarity with donor prospecting tools a plus.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and balance quickly shifting priorities.
Highly creative, flexible, adaptable and a self-starter.
Discretion when dealing with sensitive information and ability to discuss issues surrounding sexual violence.
Must successfully complete a criminal background check (administered by RAINN).
