Position Summary: Part-time position (25/hours per week)
Provides membership services support to EMDRIA members and administrative support to the Membership Development Manager. Assists with daily operational tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Processes membership applications and renewals including mailing notifications and processing payments
Reviews new member profiles
Responds to membership-related contact forms and emails
Administers training rosters for membership recruitment
Processes mail and product orders
Answers office main phone line
Supports, along with other staff, association wide projects and functions

Education/Experience: 1-2 years’ administrative experience with comparable responsibilities and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; awareness of EMDR therapy strongly desired.
Language Ability: Ability to write professional business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from members, prospective members, vendors, other relevant stakeholders and professional colleagues, and the public.
Math Ability: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect and curate data and information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of email software, word processing software, and spreadsheet software.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Travel Requirements: Travel may be required to attend and staff the EMDRIA Annual Conference. It’s held once a year in the United States and may require 4 to 7 days of travel time. Otherwise, this position does not require travel.
