Nonprofit serving children seeks positive, organized, fast-learning, reliable, can-do professional to join our team as Administrative and Billing Assistant, reporting to our Office Manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Greeting, scheduling, and supporting client life cycle in our clinics
Assisting with billing and insurance claims processing
Providing scheduling and general administrative support for our clinicians in our clinics, schools, and programs
Providing superior administrative support for our Executive Director (including scheduling) and leadership team, including working with our Board of Directors and external outreach
Maintaining prospect database and supporting fundraising initiatives and events
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Power Point, and Word
Comfortable learning new systems
Experience with EMR systems preferred
Team player with a positive attitude
Proactive problem solver
Keen eye for detail
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism
Ability to adapt to changing situations
Great people skills
Education and Experience
Undergraduate degree preferred
Minimum three years professional experience
Level of Language Proficiency
Excellent oral, written and editing skills in English
Fluency in Spanish or Polish highly preferred.

Expected hours of work
This position is scheduled for 30 hours per week including Saturdays.
