This role is primarily responsible to retain memberships and gain sponsorships in order to meet sales goals. This is TAG’s key position to develop and maintain relationships with member companies, including C-level executives, with a focus on member engagement for the purpose of revenue generation. The desired outcome is to attract retain membership through exceptional care and feeding of client stakeholders, leading to high levels of company engagement, in addition to attracting new membership. The strategic development and implementation of individualized comprehensive member engagement plans is paramount. Like all TAG jobs, this one is multifaceted, affording the candidate a broad array of growth experiences.
Must be able to understand the needs of members and deliver on customer success. Strong multi-tasking and time management skills. Excellent writing and verbal skills. Comfort with public speaking and C-level interaction. Exemplary relationship management abilities including, but not limited to interpersonal communication, client-based research, and lead generation. Ability to work independently, as well as with a team; event planning and management; leadership skills. Ability to work under changing priorities, and workloads while maintaining multiple projects.
Deliver exceptional customer service to members, prospective members, sponsors and community partners.
Successfully implement a membership engagement strategy - including, but not limited to: onboarding process; company orientations; and regularly delivered strategic engagement activities – to ensure a minimum of 85% of Corporate Members in given book of business renew their memberships each year.
Cultivate the relationship between TAG and the TAG champion with every company.
Attend TAG events where your accounts/book are expected/RSVP’d
Connect with our key staff (Marketing, HR, Government Relations, STEM Education, C-Level presence) to provide robust experiences and connections for members.
Account executive duties include payment reminders, appropriate invoice follow up, research to discover key decision makers, data entry, and maintenance of relevant records.
Participate and provide support to TAG-wide Member Orientation program.
Serve as liaison for one or more of the Corporate Member Mixer. Attend other TAG events and programs as required, as well as to prospect for new members.
Enhance current members’ engagement with TAG event sponsorships solicitation, when appropriate.
Meet with prospective members to provide information/secure new TAG members and sponsors, as opportunity arises
Assist with the development and maintenance of effective sales materials and member collateral.
Provide timely data and updates on membership reports, TAG Board of Directors, Leadership Council and other organization-wide activities.
Maintain adherence to TAG operational budgets.
