ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II, EVENTS , Alumni Association , to perform complex and diverse administrative duties in support of the events team. Duties include monitoring multiple budgets, managing vendor proposals and budgets, and maintaining multiple financial spreadsheets; contacting alumni and MIT departments; staffing Alumni Association events; and creating event collateral including signs, name badges, and VIP binders. Will also anticipate and initiate actions requiring knowledge of MIT's internal providers and outside vendors for event purposes.
REQUIRED : a high school diploma; three years' experience, preferably in a university or nonprofit setting; ability to work in a team- and service-oriented environment with frequent interruptions; strong organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills; attention to detail; and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and FileMaker in a Windows environment. Experience with SAP, Coupa, and AdvanceWeb would be a plus. A bachelor's degree is preferred. Job #16999-5
