University of Pittsburgh and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC)- Pittsburgh, PA The Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology in the Department of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and UPMC are seeking outstanding physicians for clinician-educator positions at the assistant professor, associate professor or professor level (tenure status open). The Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology has built a dynamic and collaborative group of academic clinicians with expertise in Rheumatology. We are looking for candidates who excel in teaching medical students, internal medicine residents and Rheumatology fellows and have outstanding clinical acumen and skills. There will be opportunities for academic growth, career development and mentorship, with protected time for educational and clinical research activities, depending on applicant interests and accomplishments. We have strong basic and clinical research programs, and encourage translational research activities. Academic appointment is commensurate with professional experience. Must have a MD or DO degree
ABIM board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified/board eligible in Rheumatology
Licensed to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
Demonstrated experience in education and teaching.
