PT Donor Relations Officer (Staff Associate), Department of External & Public Relations
20 Hours per week, Danvers campus
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Director of Development int he college's External & Public Relations Department, the Donor Relations Officer supports the college's fundraising strategies, including the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors and prospects through the successful execution of the college's core fundraising initiatives: the annual fund, scholarship program, annual signature event and special events. The Donor Relations Officer will work will work collaboratively with development staff and across college departments to grow the college's donor base and the NSCC Foundation's endowment.
Coordinates Annual Fund program, including content development, production schedule, solicitations, donor/prospect follow-up and closing gifts.
Coordinates scholarship program fundraising, including solicitations for new and renewal gifts, donor agreements, scholarship program promotion, etc., and annual scholarship event.
Supports the execution of an annual signature event and donor cultivation/stewardship events, including sponsorship solicitations and tracking, ticket sales and tracking and donor/prospect outreach and follow-up, collaboration with marketing and communication on collateral and PR, logistics with external vendors, and on-site logistics lead at events.
Conducts prospect research; data entry, analysis and reporting utilizing Banner Advancement's prospect management system. Tracks activity and progress toward goals.
Prepares donor briefings, proposals and correspondence for college leadership and volunteers.
Other duties as assigned.
SALARY: $26-$30 per hour. Non-benefited position, 20 hours per week.

Bachelor's degree required, minimum of 3 years' of full-time, progressively responsible professional experience in fundraising in higher education or nonprofit setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated ability to identify and manage donor/prospect information
Experience managing special events and projects
Demonstrated experience with creating appeals/direct mail solicitations, donor agreements, and proposals and corporate and foundation reporting.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience using Banner Advancement or related fundraising database (i.e. Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, etc.)
Proficient in Microsoft programs.
Successful experience interacting with culturally diverse populations required
Additional Salary Information: $26-$30 per hour. Non-benefited position, 20 hours per week.
