Chapter office of a national association is in search of a full-time bookkeeper/administrative assistant. Duties would include, but not limited to:
-Accounts payable/receivable -Payroll (as well as payroll tax deposit) -Bank Reconciliations -Posting jobs on our website for members, and invoicing customers. -Journal entries -Preparation of bank deposits -Cash management for 12 sections of our state chapter, as well as working closely with section treasurer to ensure all expenses/income are correctly logged to each section. -Assisting Executive Director in preparing financials to be presented to Board members. -Assisting the Executive Director during the Chapter's annual conference events. -Must be able to travel for annual conference. -Various office administrative tasks are required
Must be EXTREMELY familiar with Quickbooks, including the use of class codes. 5+ years bookkeeping experience preferred. Knowledge of Word and Excel also preferred. Prior non-profit experience preferred. Good customer service experience a MUST, as you will have contact with our member base as well as board members. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently in a small office environment. Salary range from low to mid- $30,000 based on experience. Office is in Tallahassee.
