Fairview Northland Medical Center is a 56-bed acute care regional medical center, located in Princeton, MN. Fairview Northland provides comprehensive medical services in cardiology, gastroenterology, oncology, family practice, and obstetrics and gynecology. The pharmacy provides Anticoagulation clinics in ambulatory settings and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services. We have utilized an automated medical record and computerized physician order entry system for our clinic patients since 2001. Northland Hospital is part of the Fairview Health System, a nonprofit network of hospitals, clinics and other health care services in Minnesota. The Pharmacy Practice PGY1 Residency in our Community Hospital will consist of core rotations in community hospital pharmacy practice and ambulatory clinics, as well as elective options tailored to the resident’s interests.
