JOB SUMMARY - Major Gifts Officer Anne Frank Center USA
The Major Gifts Officer is the face of the organization responsible for developing and maintaining major fundraising relationships. The position requires a proven track record of productivity, sophistication, and success in nonprofit fundraising, with a demonstrated commitment to diversity, social justice, education, and/or the arts.
Serve as primary contact with corporate sponsors, foundations, and individual major donors
Research, identify, and steward new and existing relationships, utilizing research-driven strategies for engagement
Help establish fundraising goals, cultivate prospects, track data, and produce accurate accountability reports
Oversee database management and donor correspondence
Represent the organization at and assist in planning of development/cultivation events
Provide regular updates to executive leadership and the board of directors
Travel occasionally throughout the country to meet with prospects and partners, to expand our geographic and demographic reach and impact
Maintain familiarity with nonprofit philanthropic trends, integrating best practices as applicable

Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in nonprofit development
