Reporting to and partnering with the President & CEO, the CFO will set financial policy and direction while also being an active participant in, and driver of, the organization’s overall financial strategies. Leading all financial administration, business planning, and budgeting initiatives, the CFO is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, compliance, and billing for government and private contracts and grants.
The CFO will be a seasoned leader with at least ten years of broad finance experience. Experience managing finance (accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting) for a complex nonprofit entity with multiple funding sources and diverse program areas is desired. Although the person in this position does not need to be a practicing Catholic, the successful candidate must be respectful of and willing to support the values of the Catholic Church. An undergraduate degree is required; a CPA and/or MBA is preferred.
