Coordinatethe development, implementation, and evaluation of the Teen Motor VehicleSafety Program for Monroe Carell Jr.Childrenâs Hospital at Vanderbilt incollaboration with the Pediatric Trauma Injury Prevention Program Manager.Facilitates agreements and contracts with outside agencies related to the teenmotor vehicle safety program. Responsible for all event planning. Coordinatesexpenses for the Teen motor vehicle safety program within establishedbudget. Also is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementingactivities and communications related to the other injury prevention programswithin the department.
Key Responsibilitieswill include but are not limited to the following:
Plans and leads the execution of the event orprogram/service in order to meet established goals, objectives and timeliness.
Â·Providesinput into the establishment of goals and objectives for the event orprogram/service.
Â·Determinesthe content and details of the event or program/service.
Â·Maintainsthe calendar and timelines of all events and programs
Â·Workon overall logistics plan necessary to successfully carry out events.
Â·Providesupport for agreements needed to procure services, supplies, and equipment forall events and programs.
Â·Participatesin IRB Research affiliated with the programs and monitors all aspects of reserch.
Â·Strong oral and writtencommunication skills required
Â·Ability to manage timeis essential
Â·Must be able to workindependently and exercise sound judgment
Â·Ability to work withhigh school students as well a younger children
Â·Travel will berequired. Candidate must have a vehicle and a valid driverâs license. Shouldalso be comfortable driving a cargo van.

Some events will require physicalparticipation in events such as car seat checkup events. Some meetings and events require evening andweekend attendance. Must be comfortable driving a cargo van to events. Natureof work requires an ability to operate standard business office equipment.Requires ability to communicate and exchange information, collect, compile andprepare work documents, set-up and maintain work files.
