Primary Functions: Supports all office functions; responsible for answering and directing incoming phone calls; process daily mail; bank deposits; data entry; preparing materials for various meetings; QuickBooks entries; responsible for all Accounts Payable and Receivable; maintaining membership lists; event planning and coordination.
Qualifications: Must have a minimum of a high school education and at least one year of relative experience with emphasis on clerical skills, data entry, typing, and telephone. Must be capable of operating computers, printers, copy machine, phones, and computer to television connectivity. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook; Excel; Word; PowerPoint).
Special Knowledge and Skills: Must be able to manage multiple tasks; have technology skills which include business software and hardware; possess verbal and written communication skills with pleasant telephone manner; have neat, clean, and professional appearance; work independently with the ability to prioritize and organize work; meet deadlines and follow through to completion on lengthy projects; must be flexible and receptive to change; must work harmoniously with staff members, association members and volunteers; maintain confidentiality; and demonstrate willingness to adhere to budget constraints.
Special Circumstances: Ability to: sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift 25 lbs. Travel by car, plane, bus, or train. Overnight travel from one (1) to six (4) days. Some weekends, and extended hours.
Hours/Pay: $15 per hour. Minimum of 20 hours per week.
Additional Information: Dress is business casual with occasional business professional. Availability for remote work if projects can be completed outside of the office. Flexible hours available if work is maintained.
