The Laboratory for Innovation Science at Harvard (LISH) is looking for an energetic Research Associate to drive research activities through the management of selected projects. This hybrid position has both research and project management components. The ideal candidate will be familiar with social science research and have experience with field experiments. The nature of this position will entail interacting heavily with faculty and associates from various schools at the university, including Harvard Business School, Harvard Medical School, and Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
The lab conducts interdisciplinary research that focuses on developing a
B.A. or B.S.
5 years' experience in nonprofit or university setting
Familiarity with research protocols
Strong oral and written communication skills
Keen ability to understand and present complex findings to general audiences
Evidence of outstanding academic achievement. This position requires an individual capable of consistent use of discretion, judgment, and initiative. The candidate must have extremely high standards in terms of quality of work, attention to detail, strong organization skills, and absolute commitment to task completion. He or she must be able to balance multiple tasks and shifting priorities under tight deadlines at an accelerated pace when necessary. It is helpful if the candidate is familiar with navigating a complex organization, such as Harvard Business School.
