The Center for Alcohol Policy (CAP), a small 501(c)(3) education foundation affiliated with the National Beer Wholesalers Association, seeks an executive director. Candidates must be self-starters with strong leadership, relationship building and fundraising skills. The primary job responsibility is to manage and oversee the day to day operations of the Center and provide the guidance for sustained growth in fundraising. The position will set long and short-term goals, develop and manage fundraising strategies, direct research, implement educational programming and oversee the financial obligations of the CAP according to the Board approved budget.
The executive director will serve as the public face and voice of the Center, speak at various industry, policy and public health conferences and promote the Center and its activities.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public administration or related field and three years of project/program management experience.
Fundraising and public speaking experience a plus. Travel required.
