State trade association has an opportunity for an energetic self-starter who is detailed oriented, adept at managing multiple assignments, and enjoys working with a small staff and volunteers.
The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communications skills. Responsibilities include development of effective messaging and branding; design, implementation and maintenance of association website; newsletter and membership directory; provide effective and timely communication; exceptional attention to detail; and managing all elements of technology infrastructure.
Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university; or related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience with preferred focus in a non-profit or association related field.
Attention to detail and excellent time management skills are essential in this position
A minimum of 3-5 years of marketing, web and print design experience
Experience working with social media and mobile applications
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Strong editorial and organizational skills with attention to detail
Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with web-based CRM or AMS Software/Management System (IMIS)
Basic layout/graphic design experience
Membership association/non-profits experience
Maintains a professional appearance and attitude, even when under pressure.
Travel is required. Must have the physical ability to attend meetings, conventions and other events, which may be held in large convention facilities with various accessibility, and maneuver through such facilities to perform a broad variety of duties.
