Seeking Administrative Coordinator for statewide association
The Texas College of Emergency Physicians is looking for a professional all round team player for a small-staffed office. This is a great opportunity to work full time with amazing members, learn about all factions of association management, and grow within this position.
We are looking for a self-starter, organized, detail oriented, and energetic individual who understands customer service and has the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Key areas of work will include continuing medical education coordination, membership recruitment and retention, meeting planning, and communications.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years association or hospitality experience along with excellent written and verbal skills.
Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of continuing education processes
Membership recruitment and retention
Quickbooks or bookkeeping
Marketing and/or graphics (brochures, flyers)
Must be available to work Monday-Friday, and available for occasional weekend and/or extended hours as required. Travel requirements include one spring convention and possibly a few other trips in Texas.
Additional Salary Information: The office is located in downtown Austin and Covered parking is provided, as well as a benefits package. Non-smoking office. Professional development is offered.
