Winter Wildlands Alliance seeks a person with demonstrable experience and expertise in nonprofit membership growth and engagement to develop and implement a robust membership growth strategy for the dual purpose of creating sustainable annual program revenue and increasing organizational political leverage and engagement to protect winter landscapes and opportunities for quality human-powered winter snowsports on public lands.
Position is half-time, either from our Boise, Idaho office or remote.

The successful candidate will be passionate about human-powered winter snowsports, have experience in membership engagement strategy and implementation, and ability and desire to work collaboratively with the WWA team. She or he will be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communications skills and applicable degree and experience.
Responsibilities include developing sustainable strategies to increase email contact/action and conversion from email contact to paying member; improving activation of current members on policy actions and other program work; developing and consulting on membership collateral; strengthening membership renewal and retention through timely and strategic email engagement, social media and other communications strategies; working with program administrator to manage and maintain membership database/CRM. Working knowledge of WordPress and EveryAction CRM tools highly preferred.
