About Thaden School
Thaden opened in the fall of 2017 with grades 7 and 9 and will grow incrementally over the next few years to serve students in grades 6 through 12. We offer small classes where students discover joy in learning and cultivate their potential under the guidance of masterful educators. Designed by a nationally renowned team of architects, our campus is located in downtown Bentonville’s Market District, walking distance from a remarkable variety of cultural and educational resources.
At the core of our mission is a deep commitment to balance that takes many forms: a challenging and innovative curriculum that integrates the sciences and the humanities through three signature programs (Wheels, Meals, and Reels); indoor and outdoor teaching spaces where sustainability is a tangible part of the lesson; hands-on programs for civic engagement that enable students to apply their academic skills and knowledge to real issues in their community; and athletics and physical education programs that build confidence and character through competition and meaningful participation. Our indexed tuition program further enhances the quality of a Thaden education by allowing us to create a diverse learn...ing community where many perspectives, talents, and interests come together. In these and many other ways, a Thaden education helps students achieve a dynamic and enduring sense of balance that prepares them for college and the opportunities of our rapidly changing world.
