Global Professional Association in Austin, TX USA - The research associate/analyst will manage industry-related research projects, design surveys, manage/collects data, perform statistical analyses, and write reports.
Description of Responsibilities:
Remains fully knowledgeable of all association's programs, membership benefits, and dues structure to answer inquiries and to assist with general inquiries and promote membership to nonmembers.
Conducts research on topics of interest to members.
Gathers and analyzes data.
Collects information on trends and developments in the industry or profession.
Conducts research and statistical surveys and prepares reports as needed.
Ensure statistical surveys are not an antitrust risk.
Prepare tables, graphs, fact sheets, and written reports summarizing research results.
Aids in the design of survey instruments such as questionnaires.
Perform data entry and other work as required for research project completion.
Prepares research project-related reports, monthly research topic blog, articles, journals, manuscripts, white papers, and presentations.
As assigned, may present research findings to the industry.
Develops and maintains close contact with representatives of other hospitality-related groups to monitor industry events and trends and to enhance the association's visibility within the industry.
Develops, organizes and maintains the association’s library resources, and archives.
Conducts secondary research on issues of concern to members and stakeholders.
Review research requests for research done by third-parties (academics, allied organizations).
Serve as staff liaison to assigned councils. Attending council meetings and assist in council work.
Responsible for department’s project deadlines in the association’s project management software.
Assists association's Research Centers with academic research.
