The Research Content and Knowledge Coordinator (RC) reports directly to the Executive Director. The RC conducts and manages industry-related research projects, designs survey instruments, manages and collects data, performs statistical analyses, and will assist with academic research. The RC maintains close contact with representatives of other hospitality-related groups to monitor industry events and trends and to enhance the association visibility within the industry. The RC will prepare research project-related reports, monthly research topic blog, articles, journals, manuscripts, white papers, and presentations. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, knowledge in research, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The RC will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, work under pressure at times to handle multiple activities, including highly sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.

Qualifications: Desired Minimum Qualifications:
Four-year college degree required, graduate degree preferable.
Must have an understanding of market research, conducting surveys, statistics, and knowledge of the industry.
Travel: At short notice, successful candidate will also be available for evening and weekend work and may travel up to five (5) percent of the time.
