The Oklahoma Society of CPAs (OSCPA) is searching for a highly motivated person interested in a hands-on learning experience in nonprofit work, primarily related to educational event planning and management. This person will have the opportunity to assist in the entire process of event management, from registration to onsite facilitation to reconciliation. This person will also see how a nonprofit/association operates on a day-to-day basis. The position will provide a valuable perspective inside nonprofit organizations and how members impact a Society’s future.
The position will be exposed to a variety of nonprofit work functions, including: membership interaction, event planning and execution, database management, customer service, vendor relationship and nonprofit budgeting/finance.
Internship will run September through mid-December. Part-time hours, M-F, to be determined by individual's availability. Please note that this is an unpaid internship.
