CTI is a small, but growing organization. Currently, the organization is headquartered in St. Paul, MN with programs and activities in Senegal, Malawi, Tanzania and Mozambique. The organization is building to expand activity across 12 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, providing tools, training and service provision through business partnerships and development.
The Director of Philanthropic and Corporate Giving is in charge of leading and executing CTI’s efforts to become a multi-million-dollar organization through the expansion of funds from high-level donors, corporations and select foundations. This position will report to the Executive Director.
This is a full-time leadership position, which requires some national and international travel.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Strategically develop and implement a corporate giving and major gift campaign
· Steward high-level foundation relationships
· Identify new business development opportunities
· Coordinate CTI's annual fundraising event
· Align CTI’s development priorities with its Board of Directors
· Work across departments to further fundraising goals

10 years of proven leadership and impact in high-level non-profit fundraising and/or corporate giving
Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
Track record of working effectively in interdisciplinary teams
A strong networker
Functional computer skills including use of standard MS office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
A solid understanding of international development
Experience working with nonprofit boards
Experience with corporate foundations
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, rapidly changing funding environment
Working knowledge of Salesforce
