The Director of Talent Acquisition leads the strategic recruitment and staffing initiatives for Dartmouth's non-academic roles through effective planning and operational management. Develops creative and effective marketing, sourcing and selection processes to drive success in recruitment and retention outcomes. Promotes and drives diversity and inclusivity in all selection processes. Ensures optimal quality, cost, and service outcomes through operational metrics. Builds and maintains strong relationships with new and existing campus partners.
Leads, coaches and develops a productive team of talent acquisition consultants. – 20%
Ensures compliance in Recruiting, through effective collaboration and process design. – 15%
Creates, implements and monitors creative talent acquisition strategies to proactively build an ongoing pipeline of qualified diverse talent.- 20%
Maintains a recruitment portfolio. – 10%
Manages efficient recruiting, interviewing and hiring systems and processes ensuring a positive candidate experience from the initial contact through Onboarding. – 15%
Supervises all recruitment marketing activities including: social media such as LinkedIn, Twitter and targeted email campaigns, and all collaterals and materials. – 10%
Represent Dartmouth at career fairs, conferences and other key on and off campus events to identify and recruit top talent. – 10%

8 year's relevant work experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in web-based recruiting tools, including social media and job boards, and applicant tracking systems.
8 or more years of experience in HR, academic administration, nonprofit management, or related field with an expertise in Talent Acquisition and demonstrated capability in recruiting and team management
Proven record of developing and effectively managing recruitment programs, projects, and initiatives
Able to lead a high-performance team that focuses on ongoing improvement and results
Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks and projects, and function effectively as a selfdirected leader of multiple initiatives
Ability to influence others, gather information from individuals and groups, build collaborative relationships and develop rapport within HR and across the organization at all levels
Experience leading and facilitating hiring manager training programs
Experience with Onboarding systems and processes
Strong people and project management skills, and ability to apply these skills in effective working partnerships across organizational lines
Knowledge of OFCCP regulations preferred
Proficiency with MS Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
