Instructional Lecturer - Master in Analytics Program

The University of Chicago Graham School of Continuing Liberal and Professional Studies is seeking qualified applicants for a part-time salaried position with benefits to teach in its Master of Science in Analytics program.
Provide students with advanced analytical training aimed at developing their ability to draw insights from data, including data collection, preparation and integration, and statistical methods and modeling.
Deliver a curriculum that is highly applied in nature, integrating business strategy, project-based learning, simulations, and case studies.
Supervise at least 10 capstone projects per year related to analytics.
Assume limited administrative responsibilities if assigned.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated critical thinking.
Organizational skills required.
Education, Experience or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree required
Ph.D. degree in statistics, business, social science methodology, or computer science are preferredâ‹.
â‹Evidence of applied quantitative experience in business or nonprofit as well as prior successful teaching experience are required.
In particular, we are looking for candidates who could teach the following courses.
Big Data Platforms
Natural Language Processing
The person in this position is expected to teach six courses over an academic year.
