Description: This position is responsible for vendor record maintenance, invoice processing, generating disbursements, and recording of financial transactions into the accounting software package.
Review all incoming invoices for proper approval prior to processing.
Review all incoming travel expenses for accuracy and support documentation.
Verify general ledger codes recorded by approvers, with supervisor's review, and correct if necessary based on the approved budget.
Follow established procedures to prepare and process check runs as directed by the Accounting Manager.
Record journal entries.
File financial documents; maintain reports generated by accounting software.
Create and maintain existing vendor records in the accounting software package as directed.
Maintain and update vendor tax information; acquire all W-9/W-8 forms; remit all 1099 forms as directed.
Respond to vendor inquiries.
Maintain and update detailed reports for board of directors tax reporting.
Assist with preparation of audit work papers; provide auditors with information and data as requested.
Establish and maintain various spreadsheets using spreadsheet applications.
Prepare financial analyses and reconciliations as required.
Serve as back up to RSNA's accounting staff.
Associate degree or above preferred
3 years of pervious accounts payable or other accounting experience required
Excellent organizational skills

Strong interpersonal skills
Manages time and stress levels efficiently and professionally while working with interruptions
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word required
Knowledge of Personify software preferred
Knowledge of Great Plains Accounting software preferred
