New York University's prestigious Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, Donor Relations. The selected candidate will direct all aspects of Stern's donor relations strategy and related communications. The selected candidate will also direct scholarship and faculty stewardship programs, and create annual donor reports. S/he will also plan signature donor stewardship events, manage donor recognition, and oversee the written gift acknowledgement process, including stewardship of annual fund donors.
The selected candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 5 years' relevant professional writing and editing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate will also possess 3 years' relevant fundraising, donor relations, or stewardship experience that includes experience creating editorial materials for interactive mediums, print publications, or campaign communications. Excellent writing, editing, public speaking, interpersonal, strategic and organizational skills, and an ability to manage a team and prepare/manage budgets is also required. A Master's degree and experience working on a capital campaign and developing the fundraising case for large, nonprofit organization is preferred.
