Position Summary: The Database Manager is an experienced development services professional who is primarily responsible for the operation, configuration, and maintenance of HNMCF’s Raiser’s Edge database and any associated computer software and systems.
Essential Functions: Duties include: managing the timely recording, receipting, and acknowledgement of ALL contributions and pledges to HNMC/HNMCF in Raiser’s Edge; constituent segmenting, tracking, and reporting; prospect management support; and Raiser’s Edge management, supervision, and training, as appropriate. The Database Manager will maintain gift accounting process and procedures as directed by Executive Director and/or by the Development Manager, and will identify any potential systems improvements.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree required Minimum of 6 years experience as a Raiser’s Edge database professional in a nonprofit setting. Familiarity with Online Express and Blackbaud Merchant Services is a plus. Advanced skills in MS Word and Excel, especially as they interface with Raiser’s Edge. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; be able to listen carefully and communicate clearly with others. Ability to work collaboratively with the Foundation’s team and with other Medical Center departments and staff.
