ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II, Sloan School of Management, to support and report to the director of MIT REAP (Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program) and provide administrative support, including calendar and meeting scheduling, domestic and international travel scheduling, and expense tracking and reconciliation. Will also provide database and reporting support; assist with website updates; manage roster databases; support administrative elements of events such as processing registrations and the preparation of event materials, nametags, attendee lists, briefing materials, etc.; act as the primary point of contact for general inquires and requests made in the office; manage delegations and external visitors; and support and anticipate the needs of a fast-paced team within a complex organization.
Job Requirements REQUIRED: three years of related administrative support experience; strong computer and technical skills including experience with MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint), Adobe Create Suite, WordPress, Asana, Slack, and HubSpot and ability to learn new programs quickly; strong organizational, interpersonal, customer service, and written and oral communication skills; ability to set goals and priorities in a fast-paced and demanding environment; initiative; and detail-orientation. A bachelor's degree and experience in a university, professional school, or large nonprofit organization preferred. Strong interest in innovation and entrepreneurship and familiarity with MIT and MIT Sloan policies and procedures also preferred. Job #15911-54/9/18
