Maternity Care Coalition (MCC), a dynamic nonprofit, works to improve maternal and child health and well-being through the collaborative efforts of individuals, families, providers and communities.
MCC seeks an experienced Senior Leader as Vice President of External Affairs responsible for:
New business development, fund development; marketing & communications; public policy & government relations.
Strategic partnerships with academic and research organizations, health care institutions and managed care organizations and other key community organizations and funding partners.
A Bachelor’s degree required and Masters preferred with a minimum of five years of progressive related work experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector. Demonstrated leadership and revenue generation track record essential as well as entrepreneurial thinking needed to develop and execute strategic and effective advancement strategies.
Since 1980, Maternity Care Coalition has assisted more than 100,000 families throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania, focusing particularly on neighborhoods with high rates of poverty, infant mortality, health disparities, and changing immigration patterns.
