About the Job:
This position is responsible for creating and implementing a growth strategy for the Kellogg Executive Scholars Program, including marketing and communication plans and individual advising with Executive Education (Exec Ed) participants around the world. This position administers market research to support the commercialization of new programs and products, and oversees a robust internship program. In general, the position works with Program Consultants and the Assistant Director of Marketing in marketing efforts that support the Kellogg School’s portfolio of non-degree executive education programs. The position reports to the Director of Marketing for Executive Education.
Maintain and grow Kellogg Executive Scholars program:
Create and implement marketing and communication plans to support program growth goals
Provide proactive and reactive consultation services to Scholars Program participants, both national and international
Drive Scholar presentations weekly, including managing senior staff schedules and preparing presentation materials ahead of deadlines
Maintain data integrity and execute logistical details flawlessly
Partner with the Center for Nonprofit Management on the Nonprofit Executive Scholars Program
Partner with Program Consultants and the Assistant Director of Marketing in day-to-day activities:
Proactively modify and develop Scholars communication plans in parallel with program needs on an ongoing basis
Partner with Program Consultants in various event-based marketing efforts
Develop and prepare program demographics and competitive analysis research
Review and prepare summaries of marketing surveys
Project manage the new program development process for Exec Ed open enrollment programs:
Research competitor programs/landscape and present findings and growth opportunities
Serve as lead project manager for new program development process
Regularly access and communicate progress and risks with Exec Ed marketing team, senior leadership and academic directors to ensure new programs achieve participation goals and revenue targets
Manage relationships with global partners.
Coordinate logistical support for global partner relationships in line with existing agreements, including communication and reporting
Manage Interns and/or Temps
Coordinate with Kellogg and Northwestern HR to maintain robust intern program and ongoing support for marketing activities
Act as key point person for undergraduate interns to manage workload and responsibilities
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Liberal Arts.
3-4 years of experience in sales, marketing or communications.
