Utilization Management Manager Leader
In this role, you will manage 24-hour departments providing patient care services. You will ensure that the staff provides high quality, accessible, cost effective care, and patient focused services to members across the continuum, which comply with local, state, and federal requirements. In addition, you will develop and maintain clinical standards of care and practice as well as be responsible for all resource budgeting, selection, and development.
At least five years of nursing experience in both patient care and management/leadership roles
At least four years of previous supervisory experience
Care Coordination experience preferred
A graduate of an accredited school of nursing
BSN or BA in a health care related field strongly preferred; a master’s degree is preferred
A current California RN license
A current InterQual Annual certification
Knowledge of the Nurse Practice Act, The Joint Commission, and other local, state, and federal regulations
Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication skills
The ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
