4 year degree from an accredited institution of higher learning
4 or more years experience in higher education or nonprofit environment, specifically in alumni engagement, fundraising, or communication.

Job Description Summary:
The successful applicant will have a strong background in events and hospitality management and experience in customer engagement, including cultivation and stewardship. Experience in alumni relations preferred.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWork directly for and in coordination with Director of Alumni Engagement &Development, and in coordination with Director of Annual Giving to advance and expand alumni engagement on and off-campus, increase alumni participation and alumni financial supportBe involved in proposal development, negotiating vendor contracts, planning, coordinating event assignments and timelines, and event executionBe available to work some nights and weekends as determined by Director of Alumni Engagement & Development, Director of Annual Giving and Vice-President of Institutional AdvancementServe as the primary manager of the Alumni Office's email and social media accounts, regularly posting engaging content on social media and quickly responding to alumni inquiries Collaborate with Director of Alumni Engagement & Development and Marketing staff to outline, create, and edit content for monthly e-newsletter, Connections, emailed to all alumniAssist the Director of Annual Giving in its print, digital, appeal and Phonathon outreaches to alumni.Assist the Director of Annual Giving in coordinating the Student Philanthropy/ Class Giving effortsSome travel for specialized events may be required.Other duties as assigned.
