HIAS seeks a Development Operations Manager to be responsible for day-to-day management and oversight of donor database integrity, gift processing, donor services and vendor management.
Oversees Raiser’s Edge database management, gift recording, and donor acknowledgement Ensures timely and accurate processing to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
Serves as the primary liaison between Development and Finance to ensure accurate reconciliation.
Works closely with Development, Finance and Information Technology, Community Engagement and Programs departments.
Manages vendors to support development operations.
Generates and delivers timely and accurate reports.
Oversees and performs donor and prospect research.
Trains organization users on Raiser’s Edge and other data management systems.
Improves development operations procedures and processes to ensure efficient workflow and best practices.
Troubleshoots and supports with system and database issues that may arise.
Ensures the integrity of data and supports the Development team, as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Undergraduate degree required.
Five to seven years of experience in fundraising; expertise in managing gift processing and acknowledgment functions.
At least three years of experience using Raiser’s Edge including Queries and Exports.
Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently; excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills.
Experience managing vendors preferred.
Knowledge of Luminate desired.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
