Advertised Summary Job Description: The Development and Campaign Communications Manager has primary responsibility for creating and managing a multi-faceted communication strategy for a major Law School fundraising campaign. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Development and Alumni Relations, and collaborating closely with senior development, communications and Dean's office leadership, as well as external resources, the Manager will develop and coordinate marketing, event-planning, and communication strategies and ensure on time and high impact delivery of campaign components. The Manager will help plan, test, execute, measure and refine campaign communications and publicity materials (including in print, electronic, social media and other channels. The Manager will serve as point-person working with outside campaign creative consultant. Work closely with the senior leadership of the law school to execute the various responsibilities associated with major capital campaigns and specific fundraising projects, including creating campaign production schedules, monitoring activity and communicating outcomes, fluctuations and plans.
General Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4-6 years relevant professional level experience in a campaign environment, including experience in interacting with institutional leaders and faculty, and writing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Specific Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a fast-paced academic or nonprofit academic environment, especially in development or public relations.
