One of the large national trade associations is seeking a highly successful marketing and sales leader to oversee non-dues revenue activities in excess of $30M, including management of one of America’s largest trade shows, and oversight for a staff of 50+. Candidate will be responsible for marketing & sales efforts across the organization including exhibit space sales, marketing strategies, advertising, sponsorships, affinity programs, publications & other revenue activities.
Must bring demonstrated ability to identify, manage and develop new revenue opportunities to obtain maximum profitability. Qualified candidate must have savvy negotiation skills, strong management experience and a demonstrated ability to identify trends and new business opportunities. 10+ yrs experience in sales and marketing and knowledge of trade show management. Experience working in a non-profit membership organization a plus. Strong communication skills a must. Related BA or equivalent.
