Episcopal High School is seeking to hire a Director of Campaign and Leadership Giving, a new position being created within the Institutional Advancement Office to be responsible for organizing and implementing Episcopal’s next comprehensive campaign. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Institutional Advancement and will be responsible for day-to-day project management of the campaign, which will be the largest in the School’s history.
The Director of Campaign and Leadership Giving will work collaboratively within the advancement team to ensure that all efforts in support of the campaign – including fundraising, volunteer management, special events, donor stewardship, publications, records, reporting, and research – are conducted with maximum effectiveness and efficiency. She/he will provide senior-level support for the Director of Institutional Advancement and participate actively in strategic and tactical planning for the School’s leadership giving program.
Overall campaign management and organization, including pipelines, prospect tracking, strategy, task assignment, communications plan, and maintenance of timelines;
Scheduling meetings, preparing talking points, assembling presentations, and full meeting prep for Board of Trustees, campaign volunteers, and gift officers;
Writing campaign correspondence and materials, including case statements, and solicitation proposals;
Maintaining master campaign calendar to maximize cultivation events and keep campaign assignments on track;
Organizing and monitoring volunteer assignments and follow-up and assisting in volunteer-led events.
Experience in campaign management or campaign-related activity, two to three years minimum preferred
A minimum seven years of relevant, full-time experience in independent schools, higher education, or other nonprofit
Strong organizational and management skills with a proven ability to set priorities and meet multiple deadlines in a timely manner
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills
High level of computer literacy and competence required – particularly related to Raiser’s Edge database and software for reporting, calendars and timelines
