Rawhide’s Development Team has an opening for a Development Manager - Major Gifts. This role cultivates and secures major gifts from new and existing individuals, foundations, and corporations.
The ideal candidate would be mission driven with excellent organizational skills and the ability to inspire and build strong relationships both internally and externally. The candidate would be self-reliant and independent yet also a team player who is highly collaborative. Attention to detail as well as strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Some travel as well as occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of development experience

Rawhide is a faith-based nonprofit organization founded in 1965 by businessman John Gillespie and his wife, Jan. They had a vision for a better way to reach out to troubled teenage boys. Former Green Bay Packer quarterback Bart Starr, and his wife, Cherry, joined the Gillespie’s to help start Rawhide's first home.
Currently Rawhide has six boys’ homes on campus, with up to 10 at-risk boys in ea...ch home. Boys' ages range from 13-19 years. Rawhide provides counseling for the boys and their families, plus innovative academic and work experience training, and a strong staff commitment to help boys gain self-respect and a better way of life. More recently, Rawhide has added outpatient counseling centers in Green Bay, Milwaukee, and Appleton to meet the needs of youth and their families.
