Reporting to the Program Director at Tsai CITY, the Innovation Fellow will play a central role in advancing CITY's mission across Yale's campus. We are looking for an energetic, inspiring and innovative leader to help us grow develop Tsai CITY into a strong center of gravity for students at Yale who want to build innovative approaches to addressing real world problems. The position is designed for a graduate of an undergrad or master's program, and is for a one-year term. Exact duties will depend upon experience and areas of personal interest. The Fellow will undertake a range of responsibilities including programming, coaching, event management, network building, outreach, and data analysis. The Fellow will have the opportunity to work on her/his/their own start-up, project, or initiative. Responsibilities/Duties 1. Support program design and management at CITY, including CITY's accelerator programs, leaders and founders labs, popup workshops, mentors- and fellows-in-residence, hackathons, Fail Fests, Pitch Slams, speed networking, and other events. 2. Work with students and student teams to devise, refine, test, iterate, build, and launch startup business, nonprofit, civic, community, social mission, faith-based, and other endeavor ideas. 3. Work closely with campus partners and leaders to elevate and improve student engagement in meaningful innovation programs. 4. Serve as a CITY representative at events and conferences on and off campus. 5. Assist with management of CITY's space, making it a welcoming place of collaboration and inspiration for all students. 6. Be a liaison to Yale College and graduate student organizations related to business and social entrepreneurship and innovation. 7. Manage CITY workshops, including evaluations and feedback. 8. Write blog posts and articles, and/or papers for publication. 9. Create one new, bold, innovative student-centric initiative at CITY.
