This position is primarily responsible for planning and directing the marketing of ABoR’s membership benefits, products and services by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establishes strategic communications plans to achieve organizations objectives for products, services and deliver key messages.
Develops and executes comprehensive communication and marketing plans and programs.
Develops and manages Communications operating budget.
Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
Evaluates and recommends distribution channel development programs.
Determines agencies and suppliers of record, and negotiates contract terms and conditions for major PR and communications services.
Serves as liaison with outside agencies on ongoing promotional campaigns.
Oversees development and production of promotional and collateral materials.
Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners.
Conducts member and consumer surveys on current and new member benefit concepts, and provides feedback for future member benefit (products and services) development.
Guides preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
Establishes and maintains a consistent brand throughout all product lines, promotional materials, communications and events.
Manages no less than four team members. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Directly supervises non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
