The Emerman Laboratory studies the evolution of HIV and related virused with their hosts. We are interested in understanding how HIV adapted to humans and how it evades human innate immunity. Applicant will be responsible for performing laboratory work in support of scientific research to discover and validate interactions between human proteins and HIV. This is an ideal position for a recent college graduate who wants additional laboratory/scientific experience before going to graduate or professional school. Funding for this position is for two years. Will consider hiring at a higher level for individuals with previous experience working with HIV.
