The Jaeb Center for Health Research (JCHR) is seeking an experienced individual to fill an opening as manager of the Center’s Institutional Review Board (IRB). The IRB assures regulatory compliance with regulatory requirements pertaining to human subjects’ research.
JCHR is a nonprofit company in Tampa, Florida. The Center’s primary focus is the coordination of multi-center clinical trials funded primarily by the National Institutes of Health and private foundations. The IRB Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the JCHR IRB under the supervision of the Director of the Human Research Protection Program. The position involves coordination of the activities of the JCHR IRB, supervision of IRB support staff, and providing guidance to research investigators and staff.
Applicants must have experience in a clinical research and/or regulatory environment, with direct experience working in an IRB office preferred.
