The division of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) includes four major areas: Development, Advancement Services, Alumni Relations, and the Career Development Center. As a part of DAR, this position works in Records and Gift Processing under the Advancement Services umbrella. This position reports to the Assistant Director, Records and Gift Processing.
Advancement Services (AS) is comprised of three areas: Advancement Information Services (AIS), Records and Gift Processing (RGP), and Donor and Volunteer Relations (DVR).

Job Duties - Essential Functions: Acquire and maintain a thorough procedural knowledge of gift and biographic entry in the advancement database and act as the receptionist for incoming gift related calls. *Revenue Data Functions *Prepares all gifts made to the University on a daily basis *Prepares daily deposits for all checks, cash, and credit card gifts with appropriate reports and document imaging *Records Management Functions *Corresponds verbally and electronically with donors *Uses online research tools to assist in updating constituents' biographic profile *Maintains the integrity of the data by updating addresses, emails, and other significant information *Identifies and reports any data inconsistencies *Manages communication preferences for 100,000+ constituents *Participates in records special projects *RGP Documentation and Communication *Prepares tax receipts, pledge reminders, and stewardship communications *Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications - *Excellent time management skills *Detail oriented *Excellent written and oral skills *Experience with Microsoft Office products (including Word and Excel)
Other Requirements: This position requires occasional evening and weekend work to support DAR's signature events including significant blocks of time during the weekend events.
Preferred Qualifications - * Experience with nonprofit fundraising and records and gifts processing * Experience with Blackbaud CRM * Familiarity with federal and Pennsylvania state tax laws
