Columbus College of Art & Design is seeking applications for the position of Alumni Engagement Manager. Reporting to the Vice President for Advancement, the position is a member of the Advancement Team, but more importantly is a member of the CCAD Family. The Alumni Engagement Manager is responsible for alumni programing and alumni events at Columbus College of Art & Design. The position will also help plan and manage signature student events on campus to include Chroma: Best of CCAD, Art Fair, Welcome Fest, Admitted Students Day and Family Weekend.
The ideal candidate is passionate about art & design and has experience in working in advancement. This position requires strong time management skills, creativity and a passion for working with a diverse group of people.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Develops and implements an annual alumni engagement plan that maximizes participation and resources
Independently manages the day-to-day operations of all alumni activities
Responsible for the annual alumni awards from soliciting nominations to managing the awards event
Utilizes social media to further and/or build relationships with both established and new alumni groups, coordinating with Marketing & Communication Team’s social media efforts
Represents CCAD at alumni exhibitions and programs as necessary, including events on campus and away from campus (regional and national travel)
Identifies and manages volunteer opportunities for alumni; is the college liaison with the alumni cabinet of volunteers advisory
Partners with development staff to coordinate and strengthen alumni groups and affinity based fundraising
Coordinates with campus partners to provide infrastructure, support and guidance for student events with ties to both academic and non-academic programs
Works to ensure alumni records are kept up to date in Raiser’s Edge and is responsible for entering in actions for alumni events
· BA/BS with preference to a degree in art or design
Minimum of two years of experience in advancement or related field
Working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge preferred.
Excellent time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
