Colorado Safety Association (CSA), a forty-nine (49) year old, 501 c 3 non- profit is searching for a dynamic and experienced leader to join the organization as Executive Director. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to further elevate CSA profile and lead organization into the next stage of growth. Executive Director Position serves the Board of Directors and the association members to accomplish identified strategic objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage all functions of the organization; hiring and supervising staff; developing and overseeing business plans and setting goals within the context of Board of Directors priorities. Manages all finance functions of association, including developing a draft budget for Board approval and supervising cash flow. Continually evaluating and developing revenue sources to assure organization growth, stability and value to members. Lead all membership activities by promoting membership, and volunteerism; attending special events; responding to member and industry requests and inquires.
Promote positive impact within the safety industry through active networking, trade associations and peer affiliation interactions.
Bachelor’s degree in business management or other related field. Must be an experienced leader with appropriate business, financial or industry experience that includes management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, with an entrepreneurial spirit desired. Association management experience preferred, a prior working knowledge of safety management and safety industry trends a plus.
