The nation’s leading advocacy organization for children’s healthcare is seeking a conscientious individual who works well both independently and as part of a team to provide administrative, budget management, and meeting preparation support to the Division Director and other division staff in the Division of Chapter and District Relations. Will also serve as a central resource person for all internal and external division requests for information regarding chapters and districts; support district leadership with chapter communications; and develop and maintain administrative systems within the division.
Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communication, or related discipline required, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience.
1-2 years’ general administrative experience required.
Experience with budget monitoring required.
Pays close attention to detail and takes initiative.
Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, and organization skills required, as well as the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously within established guidelines and provide optimal customer service.
Proficiency with MS Office required; desktop publishing and Web site maintenance software (ie, DreamWeaver, SharePoint) preferred.
Some overtime and weekend travel to conferences/special meetings may be required.
